Overview

The island's capital, the legendary Cabo Santa Maria wreck, a traditional meal on a local farm and the pottery village of Rabil.

Discover the north of Boa Vista in five hours. Start with the charming capital Sal Rei, then go off-road to Praia da Atalanta and the stranded Cabo Santa Maria — one of Cape Verde's most famous photo spots. Inland, an authentic local farm welcomes you with its animals and a traditional Cape Verdean meal: cachupa, freshly made cuscuz, homemade goat's cheese and more. Drive Cape Verde's dead-straight “Route 66” through volcanic and desert scenery and finish in Rabil, watching artisans at the traditional pottery.
